Hi I'm Steve

"I am a structural engineer. I ensure buildings are earthquake safe. I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I am married and have four children and six grandchildren. I am a structural engineer and work for a non-profit corporation that designs and constructs facilities worldwide. I enjoy reading and golf in my spare time. I also enjoy travelling to spend time with my wife, children, and grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family where there was love in the home, we worshipped together as a family on Sunday, and had prayer together as a family every evening. I was taught that I had a Heavenly Father who loved me and as I grew older I felt His presence and influence in my life. In my late teens, I wanted to know where I came from, why I was on this earth, and where I went after death. The Mormon Church provided me with the answers to these questions that I was unable to find from any other source. As Peter declares in the New Testament, Jesus Christ is only source of the true Gospel and this Gospel can be found in its fulness in the Mormon Church and Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live the teachings of Jesus Christ thru my words and actions each day in my family, work, and community settings. I enjoy teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the Bible in my Mormon congregation on Sunday. I also enjoy being able to help and visit those in need in my neighborhood.
