Hi I'm Bob

I'm a father of 7 and an attorney. My wife and I enjoy gardening and hiking. Jesus Christ is the center of our lives.

About Me

I'm an attorney and I started practicing law in 1974. While I have not made a lot of money, I have raised and educated 7 children. I have enjoyed being a lawyer because of the chance it gives me to help people with the problems that complicate their lives. The Mormon Church helps me in evey aspect of my life because it helps me understand what is truly important and thus helps me prioritize my efforts. My children are all educated and active adults now and looking back at the challenges that we had while they were in their teens, the most valuable tool that I had was our shared belief in Jesus Christ and the value of hard work and integrity. A firm committment to emulate Jesus Christ gives my wife and I a focus as we approach retirement, and we hope to find a way to share our joy with everyone.

Why I am a Mormon

The more that I learn of Jesus Christ from the scriptures, the more convinced I become that the best way to be happy in this life and the next is to learn and follow his commandments. The Book of Mormon answers a lot of questions about what my priorities should be as I seek to serve God and my fellow man.

How I live my faith

As a husband and father I think that the scriptures help be me genuine and caring toward my wife and family. My faith helps me prioritize all aspects of my life to be successful in my vocation and family. Church participation gives me many opportunities to develop my talents and to serve others. When I retire I hope to be able to serve another full time mission with my wife because I don't know of anything more important than to share my faith in Jesus Christ.
