Hi I'm Shannon

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother. I love sunny days outside and having adventures with my husband and two kids. I am a bit quirky. I love to cook, it is probably more of an obsession than a hobby. I am also a democrat, I love to debate and study political issues and ethics. Psychology, Sociology, Environmental Ethics, and Philosophy are passions of mine. I especially enjoy learning about how the gospel ties in with my beliefs from all aspects of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of this church because it makes me a better person. It helps me grow in just about every way and brings a joy to my life that I have found no where else. Also, it guides me through struggles and teaches me how to recieve strength for my trials. I know that families can be together forever and that through the church we are uplifted and strengthend. This helps our family battle opposition and hold together through stormy weather. It makes sense spirtually and logically. There is an answer to every question. All you have to do is search and you will find the truth. Most of all, I am a mormon because I have a personal relationship with my heavenly father and he has testified to me that this is his church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by centering my family around true principles and church teachings. Scripture study, prayer, and actively attending church mettings are examples of how my family and I strive to live by our faith. Also, I help plan and organize activities for the women in my church community. I enjoy finding strength in myself as well as helping other women through this calling.
