Hi I'm Alan

I love my wife, sports, food, crossword puzzles, and traveling, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a graduate student studying healthcare administration. I'm married and enjoy spending time with my wife. We share a love of food; and by that I mean, I love the food she makes. (I think she enjoys cooking a lot, too, so it's a win-win.)

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the things the church teaches about Jesus Christ. I know He is my Savior.

How I live my faith

I attend church on Sundays with my wife. I try to be a good Christian in the way I treat others.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and everybody's Savior. We believe that the church Jesus set up while he was on earth fell apart with the death of the original apostles. God loves us, though. He brought the church back to the earth through a prophet named Joseph Smith. The best way to know if this is true is to read the Book of Mormon. God gave the Book of Mormon to Joseph Smith as a "witness" or proof that he really was called to be a prophet. When you read the Book of Mormon, you can ask God in prayer if it is true.
