Hi I'm Jenny

I'm a 4th Grade Teacher. I love French. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a French Immersion School in Oregon. I have had the opportunity to visit several countries in Europe. I served a church mission in Northern Virginia, I love to run, and being in the outdoors makes me feel great. I recently graduated from college, and I currently teach 4th grade. I am married and recently just had a baby. I couldn't be more happy!

Why I am a Mormon

Pure happiness. When I was young growing up, my family never belonged to a church. Once in awhile I remember reciting the same memorized prayer with my father. I had friends that went to other churches, and I always felt like I should belong somewhere... like there was something my family was missing. My twin brother and I are the only two children in our family, and we had a good friend our age (and his family) that were members of "the Mormon Church". They were some of the best people we knew. They had happiness in their family... it was a happiness that radiated. My family wanted that. We learned more about the church and a few months later became members. I feel more than anything how much love, pure happiness, and joy this has brought to my family. Knowing the true church of Jesus Christ is on the earth, and that I am a part of that...well, that is what brings that happiness.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to teach the children of the church. There's nothing more wonderful than teaching children about God's love for them, and that He has a plan for them. The faith of these little children that believe in Jesus Christ astounds me!
