Hi I'm Glen

I grew up in Utah and now live in Washington State. I'm a Scientist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 54 years old and a husband and father of three sons. I'm a scientist and work for a US Department of Energy contractor. I hold a PhD in analytical chemistry. Some of my other interests are studying history and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. I served a two year mission for the Church in Argentina when I was 19 years old. That experience fortified my testimony of the Church that was nurtured by my parents from a very early age. I continue to be an active member of the Church to this day and know that I have a Heavenly Father, that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints is the fully restored Gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I have a calling in the Church that allows me the privilege of working with the full time volunteer missionaries, who teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all interested persons. I have a personal testimony that as these young men and young women share the message of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, that they are inspired of God to know how to teach people to find peace and happiness in these very turbulent times.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

They will discuss the purpose of life, where we came from, why we are here on this earth, and where we will go after we die. They will discuss why families can be eternal. These truths have been restored in connection with the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Show more Show less
