Hi I'm Scott

I grew up in the Midwest Missouri and Kansas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all my life. I love sports, music, computers, reading, and cooking outdoors. I love to grill and barbecue and cook with dutch ovens. I'm the father of two wonderful boys and have been married to my sweet wife for 27 years. I live in Utah now, but have also lived in Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, and Florida.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this is the church that Jesus Christ himself restored to the earth. It brings me blessings of so many kinds. Blessings of knowledge to know where we were before we came to earth, why we are here on the earth, and to know what will happen when we leave this earth. The blessing to know that God has called a prophet, like Moses, to be his spokesman on the earth today. And more than anything else, to know that Jesus Christ literally lives today. What a blessing it is to know that!

How I live my faith

I have served in many different ways in this church. I currently serve as one of the leaders of a young single adult congregation. I try daily to live and serve others as the Savior would want me to do. I served as a missionary in Korea from 1979 to 1981, teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to the wonderful people of Korea.
