Hi I'm Ali

I am a former teacher turned flight attendant. I am an ordinary girl who gets to travel to extraordinary places. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I taught 5th grade for four years and have recently become a flight attendant. I get to travel the world, experience new cultures, and meet new and interesting people. I love my family, my friends, my job, but mostly I love the Lord and His gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Christ and I know that this is His church. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the foundation for how I want to live my life and is what keeps me on the path to eternal life. I know that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of the world. I know that His atonement is real and all encompassing. I know that the atonement is for me. I know that the enabling power of the atonement is real and it allows for me to do hard things. It gives me the strength to overcome my imperfections, it helps me have love and charity towards those who have offended me, and it allows me to have a personal and real relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon to be a true witness of Jesus Christ. Like the Bible, it testifies of His teachings while on this earth and provides countless examples of the faithful prophets and followers who sacrificed beyond belief to bring the truth to the world. I know that Heavenly Father calls prophets today, just as in olden times. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel back to this earth through the divine inspiration and help of our Heavenly Father. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet on the earth today. I know that families are forever. Through the sacred ordinances available in holy temples, families can be sealed for time and eternity. Jesus is the Christ. This is His church and His gospel. I know this is true.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I live my faith through my callings and through service. I have found that the easiest way for me to show others the love that I have for the Savior and the love He has for them, is through service. It is through visiting with those who are sick or in need of comfort. It is through taking the time to pray for those in need and acting on the promptings to help others as I cross their paths. Living my faith brings me closer to my Savior and I hope that through living my faith, others will find faith as well.
