Hi I'm Jay

I am a Computer Programmer, I have traveled around the world, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was in the Military for 13 years. When we were in India, My wife and I met Mother Theresa at one of her orphanages where my wife was a volunteer. Since getting out of the military in 1992, I have been a computer programmer. I am married to a wonderful woman and we have 7 children. Most of my children have grown up and started families of their own. I enjoy computer programming, making furniture, and cycling.

Why I am a Mormon

I started out being a Mormon because I was born into a Mormon family. I am still a mormon because I believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have had many experiences through sunday school lessons, personal study and prayer that have strengthened my belief and my understanding. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that by living as he would want me to live, I can be happy and can bring joy to my family, friends and others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what is right, and by seeking forgiveness when I make mistakes. I live it by studying the scriptures and praying every day. I live it by being a faithful husband, a supportive father, and a loving grandfather. I live it by volunteering time in serving members of my church and my community. I live it by trying always to be a good example. I live it by continuing to do what is right as I get older and by not giving up when life gets difficult.
