Hi I'm Stephanie

I am a Mama. I am a service junkie. I am an outdoor LOVER. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mama who never thought she would love it so much. I always thought I'd work outside the home, but the first time I held my little one in my arms I knew I wasn't going anywhere. I am a recovering busy-body that's learning to take time to enjoy the small moments with my little ones. I am a service-junkie. I was raised in a very service-oriented home. Those feelings I had serving our fellow brothers and sisters have stuck. I want my 4 little ones to know that they will find more happiness in helping those around them than in anything the world is trying to force their way. I love to document life. I am an outdoor enthusiast and I want to immerse myself in cultures all over the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for the peace it brings to my life. I know I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who knows me personally and He is there to guide me to be the best person I can be. I cannot deny the the feelings I have reading the Book of Mormon, listening to our latter-day prophet, or attending church. I know that the Spirit is witnessing to me that what I am reading or hearing is true. What other church knows that families can be together forever? Is there another church that has more humanitarian efforts than we? I think not, and rightly so. We are the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!! We are trying to be like Christ!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to think about my eternal plan. In what I do on a daily basis or how I act I always try to have that in mind. I ask myself "Will this really get me closer to where I need to go?" And if the answer is no I try to re-evaluate what I am doing. I look to those Christ-like examples and learn from them. I live my faith by doing what Heavenly Father would want me to do, raise more of his children. Not the most glamorous, and at times one of the most energy sucking jobs. But the JOY you feel is like no other. I live my faith by teaching the AMAZING 6 year olds in our ward and LOVE them. I am so excited to help with Young Women's camp and be with our WONDERFUL youth and I support my husband in his calling as Ward Mission Leader.
