Hi I'm Travis

I grew up on a farm, work as an Environmental, Health & Safety coordinator, and love sports and camping. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have many hobbies, these include basketball, curling, squash, swimming, camping, and hiking. I am hands on and have repaired cars and renovated homes. I really like music and love to go to concerts when I can, although I choose music that is clean and not crude.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because of the answers I receive when I pray. When I was young I was raised by parents in the church that taught me to follow Gods commandments. It was when I started doing things of my own free will, like reading the scriptures every day, that I begun to feel the spirit testify of the truth. A pivotal moment in my life is when I got down and prayed for a sign that this church was Gods organization on the earth. The feeling I had and the experience I was given told me that it was. I will always believe and know that this church is true and has the answers to why we are on this Earth and how to be joyful and return to live with God again.

How I live my faith

I may have passed you on the street or seen you at work or school and you may have never known that I was Mormon. I want you to know that you could spot me or someone like me by the things we do. I don't swear, drink coffee or alcohol, and I try to be respectful. Next time you talk with someone who does not use profanity, tell them that you respect them for that. We need more people to act with higher morals.
