Hi I'm Wendy

I am a wife, mother, designer... and I am Mormon.

About Me

My name is Wendy. I am a wife to my best friend and a mother to one crazy little girl. I'm a graphic designer from home. I love everything about fashion, interior design and graphic design. I love weddings. I love dressing up for Halloween. I love Arizona. I love the city & I love food.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because of the the happiness I am blessed with each and every day. I feel God's love for me and feel that I have a divine purpose in this life. I am not Mormon only because I was raised Mormon. When I was in High School, I prayed to know if the things I had been taught my whole life were true. I remember praying every day for over a month and never feeling like I received any answers to whether or not my church was correct. I would say my prayers every night like I was taught, thanking God for my blessings and asking for things I needed help with. I would conclude with, "...and please help me know if this church is true." Finally, one night I sincerely prayed. I had to know. I told God that I would do anything asked of me, no matter what His answer was. I would tell my parents that I was leaving the church, and I would begin hunting for the right one. After my cry and devotion to the Lord, I received an instant feeling of comfort and peace. All of my worries went away and I felt the Holy Ghost so strong. I just knew. I love that I when I attend church I feel the Holy Ghost. I know that God only sends the Holy Ghost to testify of truth. I feel the Holy Ghost when I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible, and when I talk about my church to others. Gaining a testimony of the gospel does not involve physical proof. My proof is through prayer. Missionaries serve worldwide to teach what we believe, but ask investigators to read scriptures and ask God if it is true. I know that God will give His answer to those who seek it. Because I am Mormon, I was given the opportunity to be sealed to my family for eternity. I love that on my wedding day, "’til death do you part" was not included in the ceremony. I was sealed to my husband for time and all eternity.

How I live my faith

I try live my faith not only at church on Sunday, but every day. I do my best to make good choices and to serve others when I can. I do not swear, and I try to see the best in people. I read scriptures and say many prayers each day. I dress modestly and am alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine free.
