Hi I'm Brian

I live in Wisconsin and work in Human Resources. I love my family. I believe in Jesus Christ...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Colorado and Texas then went to college where I was a member of the Wrestling Team, Cheer Squad, and a manager for the Football team. Shortly after graduating college I got married to the woman of my dreams and worked for a short time before returning to school for my MBA. While I have tons of hobbies, the thing that gives me the most joy is being with my wife and my four sons. I have enjoyed being my sons' coach for their sports teams and I look forward to sharing my other hobbies with them as they grow up.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a Mormon family. I learned from a very young age that I am a child of a loving Heavenly Father. I learned that Jesus Christ is my Savior and gave his life so that I can overcome sin. I learned that I can return and live with God again after this life if I live righteously. I learned that the Bible and Book of Mormon help us learn about the gospel and help us develop faith to make good choices and overcome challenges. I learned that families can be eternal. I learned that God speaks to prophets today just as he did anciently. Although I was taught all of these things by loving parents, church leaders, and teachers, I did not blindly accept these doctrines as truths. These same people who taught me in my youth also taught me that God answers prayers and will not lead his children astray. I am a Mormon today because I have prayed to know for myself whether these things are true and God has filled my heart with the assurance that they are. I have felt this many times throughout my life as He has reaffirmed this in my heart. His answer is so personal and distinct that I know it comes from Him. This knowledge gives me the faith and strength to put my trust in him and follow Him. It gives me great joy and I enjoy sharing it with others.

How I live my faith

The most important thing that I do is help my kids develop their own faith and relationship with the Savior. I try to be an example and demonstrate the love of the Savior for them and other people. I also help them learn stories from the scriptures and apply those lessons to their own life. I also live my faith by giving my time and efforts to strengthening the church and it's members. I am an administrative resource to the church leaders who have responsibility for the church congregations in our area. I also help the youth as a member of the Boy Scout Committtee and help teach the young children on Sundays.
