Hi I'm Marsha

I'm a Mormon. I'm a convert. I'm grateful everyday for those two missionaries who found me on a cold and wintery day.

About Me

I'm a mom looking at life from a different perspective now. The last of seven children has gone off to college. Not attending meetings at school, not running children to practices and games, not juggling schedules for nine people made a void in my life. Being active with my children's lives, has allowed me to contiue doing many of the things that I enjoyed doing with my own children but at a different level. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

Missionaries came to our home early in our marriage. The message that they delivered to my husband and me was exactly what we needed and wanted to hear at that time. It seemed that we had so many puzzle pieces that did not fit together concerning religion, but, suddenly, there it was a beautiful, sacred puzzle put together for us. We became members of the Church over thirty years ago. We have been blessed with the teachings of this church on a daily basis. Being a Mormon has infulenced our children, our friends, and our extended family. It is not just a religion to us, but a way of living that has brought great joy to us.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life. I try to live my life according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. I know that others watch me and expect me to live the standards of the church. I hope that by serving others, being honest, and sharing what I know to be true will show that being a Mormon is more than going to church on Sunday. It is living by the teachings of Jesus Christ at all times.
