Hi I'm Sally

I was born in Northern Wisconsin, United States

About Me

I am the mother of 10 children, 5 boys and 5 girls 24 to 42 years of age, with 26 grand children which include natural and step children. My Loving husband and I have been married over 35 years;having met in Colorado, United States. I was born one month premature and we had no electricity, living in the north woods at a lugging camp. Both of my parents were children of the 1930's Depression. I have 2 brothers, 1 step brother and 2 half sisters. I enjoy family history, writing, reading, spinning wool, needle craft, knitting, crocheting, quilting, gardening, canning and drying, cooking, making dream catchers, beading and etc. My husband and I look forward to one day going on a mission together.

Why I am a Mormon

Finding the Church and taking the discussions at 16 years old filled a big hole in my life and fit like the pieces of a puzzle had been put together with just the right pieces. The Spirit whispered it's truth to me almost immediately.

How I live my faith

I endeavor to read the scriptures daily and try to not miss days in doing so, pondering as I read. Also in reading the Sunday School lessons and others. I am supportive to my husband in what he needs to so not only in our daily life but also in what he does for the Church in his meetings, travels and etc. My job right now is help with ideas on collecting food storage, 72 hours kits, along with some savings when hard times come and be able to cope with them. Illness, loss of work, natural or man made disasters.
