Hi I'm Elizabeth

I live in Alabama. I'm a loan officer and an animal rescuer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my sweet husband September 30, 2011. I work full time at a finance company and in my free time I work with rescue groups to pull dogs from shelters so that they can find a loving home.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel is such a blessing in my life. In hindsight Ive realized that in my teenage years I was pretty lost and just wanted to fit in. As Ive learned more about the gospel and really tried to live it I have gained such a great knowledge of the love that my Heavenly Father has for me. I am His daughter and He will always love me unconditionally. He loves me even when I havent always loved myself. Once I began to really understand this gospel truth my whole life turned around. I am so much happier because I absolutely know who I am know what my purpose is. I feel confident in choices that I make because I know my Heavenly Father would never lead me astray. In such a confusing world I know that I am a daughter of God and that He knows me very personally. What greater joy can anyone ask for?

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I have the opportunity to teach the little kids in our Primary group songs about Christ. The children are so pure in heart and really have such a pure love for Christ. I am so grateful to be reminded of this pure love that I need to possess. I also organize events for young single adults in surrounding areas. I participate actively in the young single adult group and have been so rewarded by seeing people my own age trying to attain the same blessings and goals in their lives. I know I am not the only one that struggles some times. Every opportunity that I have to serve has really given me a better understanding of the gospel and given me the opportunity to gain a stronger love for my brothers and sisters.
