Hi I'm Keith

I live on the Prarie. I am a father. I am a husband. I am a fisherman. I am a gardener. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dad who works in the outdoors industry that absolutely loves life. There are so many great things to look foward to in life. I have 2 boys, a wonderful wife, and a very blessed life to be able to do what I do. I am an outdoors enthusiast who loves to fish, hunt, camp, bike(cycle), play soccer, cook, sing, and do anything. I am a full time working proffessional who recently completed my MBA. Finding balance between work, churh, family, and school was difficult sometimes. My family supported me through the long process and we came out better because of it. I know that I didn't do this alone. I had the help of my great family, a supportive company, and most importantly, the Hand of the Lord guiding me through the last couple of years. I had strength beyond my own to accomplish what needed to be accomplished.

Why I am a Mormon

I am surrounded by great people everywhere I go. I deal with people from all over the country and all over the world. There is so much that I can learn from them. But the thing that I find most fulfilling in my life is the eternal perspective that the gospel of Jesus Christ provides. I know that I can survive adversity and trials in life. I know that my family is with me for longer than just this life. The perspective that the gospel provides is so refreshing and reassuring to me. The thought that I can be with my family forever, be forgiven of my shortcomings and sins, and still feel the Saviors love and guiding hand in my life is a wonderful thought.

How I live my faith

I am the ward choir director, chorister, and secretary to the bishop and his councilors. Living in a small ward, there isn't much room to not be a full participant in our ward. I love music. I love conveying and teachcing the Savior's love for us through music. I visit the homes of members of our ward. I have to travel 30 miles to visit one older couple. I look forward to talking to them and learning from them. Living in an area where most members of the church moved here, we don't have family close. We have become each other's family. We serve and help and love people in this area. I try to live my faith by being the best I can be each day. I try to treat people fairly, the way they would want to be treated. My co-workers know and understand my moral values and respect them. I also try to show that as a Mormon, I am a real person with a sense of humor, hard work ethic, and loyal friend.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The best way to know if Mormonism is true is to ask God in humble prayer. There is a scripture in the Book of Mormon that says "my soul hungered." If you truly want to know if Mormonism is true, or the truth of anything for that matter, then ask the Source of all truth, our Heavenly Father. You then have to listen with our heart and mind. You have to think about how you feel. Oftentimes, answers come when we're not expecting them. Some people think that they need to have a vision or hear words to know if something is true. Feeling good about something or feeling peaceful can be a way that God talks to us. Some times, something just feels right. Happiness is another way to know if something right or true. There are many ways that Heavenly Father talks to us to tell is what is true. Show more Show less
