Hi I'm Ty.

I'm a father of three, a dentist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a rural town in the northwest United States. I have been married for ten years. I love my wife and three kids. They mean the world to me. I have a degree in Business Management, with a minor in Chemistry. I went to dental school in Florida where I obtained my degree to become a dentist. I have a passion for learning. I am especially interested in learning how "things" work. I love watching sports and cheering my teams on! I am also a big iPad fan.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a father and husband is very rewarding. However, it hasn't always been easy for me. The relationships I have with my wife and kids are very important. The teachings of the Mormon faith give me knowledge and guidance which are helping me become the person I want to be. I am certain that the gospel of Jesus Christ has kept my family together. My wife and I are trying to build our family on a solid foundation--the Lord Jesus Christ. I cannot image living a life without this foundation. In a world where the only constant is change, I depend upon the teachings of ancient and modern prophets for direction on how to raise my family. I want to live with my family forever. I believe the teachings of this church make this dream a reality.

How I live my faith

I participate in the church by frequently visiting the homes of three neighbors of mine. One of the people I visit is in a wheelchair, and because her husband has passed away, she must care for her two boys by herself. I try to help where I can. I frequently attend the temple so others can receive the same blessings I do. Being in the temple helps me to prioritize my life and realize whats really important. Life gets real busy. I'm thankful for a place where I can go to the Lord and worship without the influence of the outside world. I assist one of the church leaders by setting up appointments and organizing meetings. I enjoy the opportunity so associate with church members.
