Hi I'm Jacob.

I grew up in Oklahoma. I want to be a doctor to help serve others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Bible Belt and have developed lasting friendships with many people of different faiths. I just finished my undergraduate education and am about to start medical school. I enjoy staying active by playing sports-mainly basketball, soccer, football, and disc golf. I love eating and am especially fond of good BBQ! I love to watch and read inspiring things. I hope to one day have a family of my own so that I can love them and teach them to be good people.

Why I am a Mormon

I think one of the greatest things I've found in this church is happiness-enduring and true happiness! What a blessing it is to know that I can be with my family forever. Sure I'm a human and have my fair share of difficult times too, but every time I study the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I find peace that can only come from above. I know in my heart that this is the church of Jesus Christ. He stands at the head of it and has provided a way to return to live with our Father in Heaven. I know this to be true, and it means everything to me.

How I live my faith

I regularly attend my church meetings as I continue to learn about the teachings of Jesus Christ. I enjoy visiting people and bringing them comfort and companionship. Each Sunday afternoon , I go with others and visit an assisted living center where we sing and visit with the residents. One day, I hope to be able to provide healthcare to third-world countries.

Are Mormons Christians?

We believe in Jesus Christ as the Savior and Redeemer of the World. It is only through Him that we can return to live with God again. We look to the Savior as the ultimate Example and as the Healer of all.  Show more Show less
