Hi I'm Morgan

I grew up in Wyoming, I served in the military, I'm an economic and statistical analyst, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing stuff outdoors! Biking, fishing, hiking, canoeing, skiing, and camping are some of my favorite pastimes. I also love reading and spending time with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family. I have parents that are wonderful examples to me of how to love others and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, I am not a Mormon just because I grew up that way. I have personally studied the teachings of ancient and latter-day prophets and know that true joy can only come from living my life in harmony with the teachings of Christ. As I read scripture and listen to the teachings of latter-day prophets I feel the Spirit of the Lord testifying to me that the things that I am learning are true. Not only that, but as I live the things I have learned I feel myself grow closer to the Savior and truly experience joy. I love the way I feel when I am serving others and striving to be a true disciple of Christ.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon doesn't just mean going to church on Sunday. I strive to live my faith every day by serving those around me and living the principles I have learned in the Bible and Book of Mormon. Being a disciple of Christ means living up to His standards at all times and in all places. It is a significant challenge, and nobody is perfect, especially me, but I know that I am blessed as I strive to keep His commandments. I also have the unique opportunity to serve at the Washington, DC temple, which allows me to serve temple visitors and grow closer to the Lord in the process.
