Hi I'm Jason

I am married with two daughters. I'm an engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have two daughters. We are adoptive parents. I have been working for the same company for almost 17 years. I enjoy almost all sports, both playing and watching. I also have enjoyed coaching my yougest daughter is soccer. I am currenlty on a bowling team. I have acted, sung and danced in many local plays and musicals. I like singing in our ward choir. I am learning to play the guitar and re-learning to play the piano. I enjoy time with my family and friends, whether it be at our house, their house, or some where out in surrouding area.

Why I am a Mormon

The main reason I am a Mormon has to do with family. I do not have a large family, especially by some Mormon standards, but it has always been a close family. Growing up, I lived within 45 miles of both sets of Grandparents, some Aunts and Uncles, and many cousins. We got together frequently for holidays, birthdays, and just because. I also received many cards and letters from other family members that did not live close and could not make it to all of the get-togethers. One of the first sacrament talks I heard was about the importance of families in the Mormon church. This peaked my interest and lead me to listen to other talks and the lessons more carefully. Then I fould out about how families can be together forever, through all time and eternity, and that we can see family that has already died again. This really touched me since I had lost my sister and all four of my grandparents by this time. I have realized since that the Holy Ghost was testifying to me of the importance and truthfulness of families in our Heavely Father's plan for us. This lead to my believing in the full-time missionary messages and getting a confirmation from Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost that this church is true. That is why I decided to be baptized and cofirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to my family, friends, co-workers, and others I meet along the way. I sometimes teach lessons on Sundays, to either adults or children. I have worked with boys in both the cub and boy scout programs. My wife and I have helped oranize events for our church to do and/or participate in. I visit and serve others through my church callings. I participate in the community through my children's schools and by participating in the local theater groups.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

A husband and wife, and families, can be and live together forever. It is a central part of Heavenly Father's plan of happiness. It is also the main reason I started listening to the missionary discussions, then being baptized and becoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My only sister passed away a number of years ago. It brings me great joy that I will be able to see, talk and interact with her again. Show more Show less
