Hi I'm Dillon

I'm a Military Brat. I'm a missionary. I'm multi-lingual. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Psychology Major. I love watching the TV show Bones (pretty much my favorite show EVER). I have grown up in a couple different states, including Texas, Arizona, South Carolina, Utah, and Colorado. I love listening to music, especially bands such as Relient K, and Blink 182. I love learning Languages, and have learned German and Lithuanian. And I am serving a Mission in Lithuania.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for several generations (one of my ancestors even married Brigham Young's Daughter!) I absolutely LOVE being a member of this church! I have this wonderful feeling that I belong. I have come to know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, knows me personally. He suffered and died for my sins. I know that a 14 year old boy, named Joseph Smith, knelt in a grove of trees and saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I know that this is the truth. I cannot imagine myself not knowing it, or not living according to the truth.

How I live my faith

I am leaving my home and family for 2 years to go and serve the people of Lithuania, and to share the Gospel with them. I am a Representative of the Lord Jesus Christ.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

We are saved by Grace. There is NOTHING we can do here on Earth that can merit our entrance into Heaven, so we have no hope of getting to Heaven without the Grace of God. However, the Grace is not entirely free. We earn this Grace by doing all we can. In the Book of Mormon, we are taught that "all we can do" is to repent of our sins. Everyone who repents is forgiven. It is only through our faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved. Show more Show less
