Hi I'm Cory

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently living in Spokane, WA and working at an internship in the human resources department. At first I can be shy, but I enjoy being around people and spending time with friends and family. Music is a big part of my life as I like playing guitar and bass, and I love to read. Sports were a big part of my life growing up, and I was captain of my soccer team when I was young. I played football in high school and kept getting injured, so my playing time was up and down. During my senior year I broke my arm after the third game of the season. Coincidentally, I worked with and became friends with the guy who broke my arm 4 years after it happened.

Why I am a Mormon

Through study and fervent prayer, I have gained of strong testimony of the gospel. I know that this is the true church! This is a strong statement to make, but through the promise given in the Book of Mormon in Moroni (to pray asking in faith) I have felt the spirit of peace and truth. Life can be difficult, and I've certainly had my ups and downs, but the truthfullness of the gospel has remained unwaivering and constant. I'm not sure where I'd be without the church, but I'm glad it's a part of my life.

How I live my faith

I try to participate in activities within the church and the community as well. Recently there was a service project involving several LDS members, and people of different faiths where we painted a middle school. It's fun to get out and get involved!
