Hi I'm Jeff.

I'm a Mormon. I'm the oldest of 5 brothers and no sisters. I'm a retired truck driver and I love life!

About Me

My family is my favorite hobby. Sharing my hobbies with my family is so much fun! I enjoy hunting, reloading, fishing, fly tying, hiking, camping, backpacking, gardening, reading and attend drag races. I love being a dad, step-dad, and grandpa!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member all of my life. My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been an ongoing process all my life. As I continue to strive to keep the commandments and covenants of the gospel and service to others, I am coming to know the Savior and Heavenly Father in a much more personal way. The comfort in trials of life and the peace of the opportunity to return to our Heavenly Father brings me great joy!

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve in the church. I always find that I'm blessed way more than I ever deserve. Service to our fellowmen in many ways, has helped me to be more like the Savior. I presently serve in the scouting program and work at the church cannery.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Jeff.
As the Savior stated in John 3:5 baptism is essential to entering into the Kingdom of Heaven. Many people have not had this opportunity in this life. What a wonderful opportunity it is for us to serve our fellowmen, who haven't had this opportunity, by performing these proxy baptisms in the temple for them. This then allows them to accept or reject this work, after having been properly taught the principals of the gospel in the Spirit World. What a merciful and beautiful plan our Heavenly Father has provided for all of his children. Show more Show less
