Hi I'm Rachel

I could play volleyball all day, every day and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Cool, calm, collected are the three words that have been used to describe my personality and I'd have to agree. Growing up, I was generally a happy person and that part of me hasn't changed much. I being social and being with family and friends! My hobbies include cooking, playing the piano, volleyball, dancing and listening to music! I also love doing hair and attended cosmetology school but I'm thinking to go back to school for something else, either accounting, aesthetics, or hair extensions. Over the years, one thing I have learned is that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philip 413

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS church my whole life! Deep down I've always known it was true because whenever I would get frustrated or discouraged with life, I think "I'm done. I just won't read or pray anymore." But right after that negative thought, a phrase same one everytime would enter my mind "No I won't do that because I know that won't really make me happy." I knew that living the gospel principles taught in the LDS church was the only way I could enjoy true and lasting happiness. I haven't always had such a firm conversion and testimony of the gospel though. Since serving a mission in Montana Billings which is where I am currently, I've learned, experienced and felt the reality of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and how it can change lives! I know Christ lives and is at the head of this church! He has called a prophet, just as in times past, to lead and guide us home to Him and our Heavenly Father! The church is so true!!

How I live my faith

Being mostly active in the LDS church my whole life, I've seen the positive influence of the gospel principles when applied to daily living. I know it's the small things we do each day to invite the spirit into our lives that makes the BIG difference in the end! Consistence, perserverance, endurance. All good mottos for living life as a follower and disciple of Jesus Christ!
