Hi I'm Paul

I'm a father and a Mormon Bishop.

About Me

I'm a father. I'm a college graduate who never knew what I wanted to be other than being a father and husband and ended up being something I never imagined. My family is my greatest joy. I love to read. I love to play with my kids. One of my greatest challenges in life is trying to balance the time demands put upon me - meeting obligations at work, serving in my church and spending time with my family. But, I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in hope and joy. My faith has always provided me the solace to deal with the heartbreaks of this life. From losing a parent as a child, to suffering professional setbacks in life, the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us to have faith that everything will be alright. The gospel can be called the plan of happiness. I know that the darkness and heartaches of this life can be overcome with faith. I love life. I love knowing what I know. I know that there is always hope, even in the darkest of times. Christ gave us that hope and I love Him for it. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life. It's easy to talk about living your faith, but my faith is my life. I'm not a perfect man, far from it, however, I am always aware of what my beliefs are and who I'm trying to be. I serve as the bishop of my ward or congregation. Everyday I have the opportunity to serve others and to ask other ward members to serve. This church is a service oriented church. I love associating with people willing to set aside their own needs and wants to go to the assistance of someone else. Trying to live life completely on my own can be too overwhelming at times. I know that as we serve we find happiness and joy. I know that as we serve we gain a better understanding of hope and faith.
