Hi I'm Randall

I am married with 4 sons. I make a living as an accountant. I'm a beekeeper with 3 hives in my back yard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to go camping a fishing with my family. My boys and I like to use Geocaching.com to explore the different places we visit. I have been a beekeeper for several years now and have several beehives in my back yard and more at friends homes in my neighborhood. I enjoy mentoring new beekeepers and making my own hives. I enjoy learning new woodworking skills in my garage. There is a lot yet to explore and learn but having fun making beehives and other fun things. I wear an insulin pump to help me with my diabetes.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I had a simple desire to know if the Book of Mormon was true. As a teenager I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true. I always felt peace when reading but wanted to know by revelation through the Holy Ghost if it was true. After several months of reading and praying an undeniable spirit of love and light came into my heart. I don't have words to describe this experience but the still small voice of the Holy Ghost let me know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who knows me and wanted me to know that His Gospel had been restored and the Book of Mormon was true. This was what I had been hoping and praying for. I have also come to know, through similar experiences that Jesus Christ suffered and died for me. He knows exactly what trials and struggles I have had in my life. I rely on his mercy, empathy and love to strengthen me and guide me during trials. In spite of my sins, he loves me and forgives me when I repent. I testify of modern prophets and apostles. I know that they are God's servants and I am blessed by following their council. I testify of eternal families. I am so thankful for a marriage that will endure for eternity. We will be a family forever, not just in this life.

How I live my faith

I love the opportunity to be a husband and father. With four boys, I strive be a good example. My wife and I work together to have a home that is a place of peace and refuge from the turmoil and commotion of the world. I appreciate the blessings of caring for one of the widows in my congregation. I visit her and other families each month. I see that their temporal and spiritual needs are met. They often give me opportunities to serve them. Sometimes I rake leaves, other times bring fresh cookies my wife has baked. I always have opportunities to pray for them. I have many opportunities to learn and grow in my faith by serving in the church. By serving in these callings I have learned that we have a loving Heavenly Father that knows each of us personally.
