Hi I'm Nolan

I'm a farmer, and FFA lover, I think Mountain biking is bomb, and I'm a Mormon baby!

About Me

I grew up in a small town called Grantsville, Utah. I worked on a farm for several years and was very involved in FFA while attending high school. My favorite pass time is working on old cars, welding, and building high performance mountain bikes. I also enjoy mountain biking, hiking, running, swimming, riding horses, driving fast cars, and moving sprinkler pipes on large hay fields. I have awesome parents and two younger brothers who are the bomb. Right now I am serving a full time mission in good old Phoenix Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

Like many others, I was raised in the church by my parents. Thus, the time eventually came where I realized that I need to know for myself if the things I was taught were true. I needed to know for myself if the Book of Mormon was true, if I was following a true prophet, and most importantly, if I was a child of God and if the gospel of Jesus Christ was real. My testimony to you is that all these things are true. My testimony came from reading the Book of Mormon. From it I gained a knowledge and understanding that Jesus Christ, that same Jesus Christ born of Mary those many years ago who atoned for the sins of the world in the Garden of Gethsemene and on the Cross, is real. I know from the Holy Ghost that Jesus Christ is real. That he is our savior and does love us, he does care about us, and wants us to follow him. I promise that anyone who honestly reads the book of mormon and prays to God seeking its truthfulness, will gain a testimony of their Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Mostly just by the small and simple things like reading my scriptures, praying each day, and attending church each week. The scriptures teach us that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ effects every decision I make. Because of the knowledge I have that we are God's children, that he loves us, and that he sent his son Jesus Christ to make it possible to return to him, life is happier. That is what the gospel of Jesus Christ brings, true happiness. Not only for this time here and now but for all eternity. Like I mentioned earlier, I am serving a full time mission. I am doing this because of a strong desire I have to share this happiness that comes from Jesus Christ with everyone.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Nolan
Families are so important because they are the greatest source of happiness. Part of God's plan is that we can be with our families forever. This is why it is so important that families are built on the foundation of Jesus Christ's teachings. Show more Show less
