Hi I'm Ben

I'm a husband, father, psychology professor and a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have 7 children and 2 grandchildren. I enjoy my work - university administration, teaching and psychotherapy research. In my free time, I play chess, jog, and occasionally cycle.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and learned to love the way of life, the principles and doctrines of the church, and the outstanding people who attend the church. As I read and study the Book of Mormon and Bible and as I try to live a Christ-like life, I feel a comfort and peace that cannot be purchased or obtained in any other way.

How I live my faith

I served as a leader in our church which took me to various congregations we call them wards around Southeast Ohio. I enjoyed meeting members and visitors around the area and benefited greatly from learning of the strengths and experiences of other members. I try my best to be "an example of the believers" 1 Tim. 412 in my work and other areas of my life, too.
