Hi I'm Andrew

I am veteran, pre-law student, entrepreneur, husband, and father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Andrew and I was born in Utah but when ever someone asks me where I am from I like to say Tennessee because that is where I was raised for most of my childhood. I am currently transitioning into international relations after coming home from Afghanistan and adjusting to life back in the states. I am the husband to a wonderful Mexican woman by the name of Vianney and a father to an active young boy named Charlie and to a little unborn girl who will be named Esperanza. I served a mission for the church in Monterrey Mexico and it was one of the events in my life that had a profound impact on my life. To have been given the opportunity to meet and help the people I did is blessing that I will be eternally grateful for. After my mission I was married about a year later to the most amazing woman I have ever had the opportunity to meet. The love my wife gives me is by far the greatest gift I could have ever received from my Heavenly Father because I know it was him who helped us meet. I am currently also preparing myself to go to law school and begin my own business. It has been difficult balancing everything, but with the help my wonderful Father in Heavenly all of our dreams have been able to be achieved along the way. I know that Heavenly Father loves and cares about each and everyone of us if we will listen to him as he speaks through his prophet and his spirit.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ as he gave it to us around two thousand years ago. I believe that revelation exist for those who are willing to look for and act on it. I know that Heavenly Father really does love us and wants us to live with him again. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that if you ask with a real intent to know you will it is true also. I know that miracles still happen. I am a Mormon because I know this church is truly the church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As a husband and father I try to be the example that my wife and children can look to. I try to show my wife how much I love and appreciate her everyday, and show my children how to be happy even though at their very young age they probably don't understand everything. I feel as though they can begin to feel the spirit and I think that is what counts. One thing my wife and I have begun doing is studying the importance of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and how his eternal sacrifice can help us and how it can make us better people.
