Hi I'm Saria,

I'm a missionary, I love my life and one day I will touch a whale, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Saria. I am from Germany and right now I am serving a full time mission in St. George, Utah. I love the theater and everything that has to do with it. Even though I can't sing, musicals are my favourites. My family is important to me and it keeps on growing, right now I have 25 cousins but who knows what's gonna happen ^^. I am pretty easy going except when it comes to card and board games, in that case I can get really ambitious and I hate losing. I know who I am and that brings happiness to me. I love my mission, because of all the wonderful people I am meeting but let me tell you more in a little bit....

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I received answers to my prayers and I know it is true. I grew up in the church but there always comes a point in your life when you ask yourself "Do I really know that the things I have been taught are true?". This point of my life came when I was living a year in Pennsylvania after Highschool. During this year I realized how much I love the gospel, the teachings of Jesus christ. I realized that if I  put God first, everything else works out. My parents always taught us great values and helped us to gain our testimonies of these things and we made our own decisions. I saw how my faith grew in this year because I was far away from my family and that brought me closer to my Heavenly Father. He was the one I had to rely on and He never lets us down. He wants us all to come back to Him one day but it is on you to make that decision and do the things He asks you to do. I promise you, if you take time to find out for yourself, He will give you and answer in a way that you will come to know that these things are true. There is one scripture that we can read over and over in the bible and the Book of Mormon and it says " Ask, and it shall be given unto you seek and ye shall find knock and it shall be opened unto." 3 nephi 147. It is on you to ask, seek and knock and then you will receive your answer, it won't just fall out of the sky. We have to put some effort in it and then will the windows of heaven be opened and your life will change. It is your decision, it is either true or not but only you can find out for yourself.

How I live my faith

Like I told you earlier I am serving a full time mission at the moment and I'm living my faith by sharing it with others. I am sharing the things that I know to be true everyday with people who are searching for truth. Some of the things that I know with all my heart that they are true are - God loves and knows us each individually - Jesus Christ's church is back on the earth today - We have a living prophet and 12 apostles who lead and guide us - Families can be together froever even after this life and you can find out for yourself if these things are true, you don't have to take my word for it, because God will let you know if you search and ask in faith and with real intent. Sharing this with the people around me brings me joy and happiness because I see how lives are being changed to the better.
