Hi I'm Diane

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an educator and trainer by trade. I design cross-stitch patterns and I love words and puzzles. I enjoy living in a small town with my husband where we try to be involved in the local community doings. I have two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and two fun grandsons. My husband has four sons, a daughter-in-law, a grandson, and a granddaughter. I enjoy music and play the piano, organ, flute, and recorder.

Why I am a Mormon

In 2001 I was introduced to the gospel by a friend at work who had recently joined the church. Little did he know that sharing what he was learning was exactly what I needed to hear. The gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints answered many questions I had been pondering for years, such as, what happens to those who have not heard of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attempt every day to help others. I am president of our congregation's women's organization which gives me many opportunities to serve in an official capacity, but I always look for extra little things I can do.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is the women's organization of the church. It is made up of all women 18 years of age and older. We meet every Sunday for an hour for a lesson and fellowship. We also meet during the week in small special interest groups and to learn together on a variety of topics. Relief Society gives us wonderful opportunities to serve, to lead, to teach, and to grow.
