Hi I'm Brett

I live in North Carolina. I am a nursing student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do any kind of fishing. I grew up pond fishing and have now moved to surf fishing off the beach. Next adventure will be fly fishing. I am a father of one and one on the way and have a beautiful wife. I am a CNA working on a nursing degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love to be! I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints and at the age of eight made the decision to be baptized for myself and have never looked back. I served a mission to Salt Lake City, UT and strengthen my testimony as a member of the church. I love Jesus Christ and strive to be more like him and my Heavenly Father every day. I know this church is true and will never deny the sure knowledge that I have gained in that aspect.

How I live my faith

I work with the young men in my church and help them to prepare to serve missions later in their life if they so choose. I visit those in need and I share my love for my Savior with my neighbors and friends. I love to serve and hope to find ways to serve on a daily basis.

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

Church is a weekly renewal of the promises I made with my Heavenly Father when I was baptized and a solid preparation for my week to come. The Temple is a sacred place that I can go to gain greater understanding of the gospel and to come closer with my Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
