Hi I'm Greg

I play the tuba. I love playing board games. I'm a father, a husband, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two great kids and husband to a very loving and supportive wife. I work in the food industry because of my passion for food and currently work for Heinz in Pittsburgh, PA. I love music, both listening and playing. I was in marching band in high school and college and still have a strong passion for good marching music. I also enjoy meeting new people and immersing myself in new environments.

Why I am a Mormon

I think the thing that solidified it for me is the fact that the church is so family centric. Elder L. Tom Perry referenced in April Conference of 2004 that the family is the fundamental unit of society. That is so important to me especially as a young father. I do what I do for my family. I am happy to be a part of a church that is so fundamentally centered on them.

How I live my faith

Currently my calling in church asks that I spend a great deal of time with our missionaries and individuals who are interested in the church. It is amazing to watch these young men and women ask people questions about the core of who they are and what they believe in. It is amazing to see so many people who don't have a compass or foundation of any kind in their life. That's what the missionaries are for, to help individuals who are seeking that direction, find their way to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is also such a blessing to have them around my family so much. I can still remember when my 2 year old first heard that the missionaries were going to be coming over that first night she said, "No no! The missionaries are not good!" Now my children can't wait to see them every week. Having the missionaries in our home has been such a blessing for our entire family.
