Hi I'm Jose Alvaro Medrano

I was Born in the US, was raised up in Mexico and the US, love the Outdoors, am a missionary, I love Music and I am a Mormon!!!!!!

About Me

I am a fun loving outdoors kind of guy. If there is something to do outside i will go and do it. Soccer is my favorite sport. I love the sport and i love playing it when i get the chance. Being a DJ is my life time dream as well as owning my own construction company. I love to mix and match music and i would love to soon make a temple for Heavenly Father. I am currently serving a mission for two years. I have a purpose and that is to help people come unto Christ. I am A missionary for the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. I am currently serving in Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I Mormon well I have always felt a hole in my life. When i had a chance to start going to church with my family i knew that I had found what i was looking for. I know that Heavenly Father has given me an opportunity to join his church and find what i was missing to not only help myself but to also help those around me. My Family is my life and i know that i will be with them for all eternities. Living as a convert for almost two years has really change my aspect in life i have seen how our father in heaven can and will bless us. I am also currently serving a mission in Louisiana. I am in the Louisiana baton Rouge Mission..

How I live my faith

Living my faith is narrowed down by a Verse out of the Book Of Mormon: this verse is in Ether 12:6 - And now, I Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that Faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, DISPUTE NOT BECAUSE YE SEE NOT, FOR YE RECEIVE NO WITNESS UNTIL AFTER THE TRIAL OF YOUR FAITH.... Another thins that i have done is try to do as the Bible says in John 15:13 GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS. We as his friends have to show our faith in him and do as he would want us to do

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Jose Alvaro Medrano
The Principle of Tithing is to give ten percent of your pay to or any earnings to the bishop. When the money is given to the bishop it is then put in a fund to help build temples, Chaples, and also to help out and members or missonaries that need help. Show more Show less
