Hi I'm Chad

I grew up in Southern California. I am a private school administrator. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dad, a school administrator, and I love to travel. I also like to ride motorcycles, ski, climb mountains, camp and shoot skeet. Despite all of these hobbies I spend all of my free time with my wife and three wonderful children.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in the church with wonderful parents who taught me the gospel there was a point in my life that I needed to decide if I was going to continue on that path or choose another. This time came near the end of high school. As a Mormon I was expected to leave for a two-year mission and was beginning to feel pressure from my father, who happened to be the Bishop or lay leader of the local LDS Church. Something clicked inside me at the time that said I needed to prepare myself and fulfill this calling to serve the Lord. Once I made the decision to change my life things got a lot easier and the peer pressure from my friends diminished. In the fifteen years since I returned from my mission my life has been very blessed. I see the Lord's Hand in all of the important decisions that I have made. Without my faith and membership in this church I would not have the things I cherish most today.

How I live my faith

In my ward I work with people both temporally and spiritually. As such, I am able to interact with many fine people by serving others within the church as well as the local community. I visit families on a weekly basis and help to assess their needs and work with other church leaders to meet those needs. Sometimes this involves getting my hands dirty and other times just being there for a "brother" or a "sister." As members of the church we are always looking out for one another.
