Hi I'm Elizabeth

I love reading to my 3 kids and eating good food. I am a mom and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am not a super-mom and am far from perfect, but I love my family! My 3 little ones are crazy fun, sometimes just crazy. And I love that I am a stay-at-home mom so I can be there whenever they need me. I love that my husband supports and encourages me to be home with them. He knows family is first. Our little family moves around a lot so we meet lots of people and learn about new places. In all our moves it's so nice to know that the LDS Church will always be our family wherever we are. I LOVE to eat! I love to bake cakes. I have a degree in biology and hope to get myself back to behind-the-scenes at the zoo when the kids are older.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church after 7 years of marriage and my sisters and I are glad they did. Otherwise they were going to travel the world and live the high life. Instead they found the gospel and decided to have a family. They raised my sisters and I in the gospel and from their own testimonies I have grown my own. The Gospel is simple and beautiful and gives my life meaning. Jesus Christ loves us and wants us to be happy. I know we can be happy when we follow His teachings and love others. I am so happy that we have the chance to be with our family forever!

How I live my faith

I teach the "nursery" on Sundays, which is the youngest class - 18 months old to 3 yrs. It can be taxing, but so rewarding! In our home we try really hard to read the scriptures every night as a family. Our 6 yr old is reading so she gets to read some on her own. It's short, but fun. We say family prayers too. My kids enjoy church and they often play church at home complete with an end table for the podium and a water bottle for a microphone.
