Hi I'm Renee
I grew up in Washington. I am a mom, a wife, and a friend. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a mother of 6 children. I spend a lot of my time running the kids around and helping them with their homework. I enjoy cub scouts, music, and being creative. I love to play volleyball and spend time with my husband. I really enjoy serving and helping other people.
Why I am a Mormon
I grew up a member of the church. I went to church each week with my family. As I have grown and now have a family of my own, I have come to know for myself that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I have been blessed by following the teachings of the Savior, and I have felt forgiveness through the atonement and I know that the Savior loves me. I am truly happy to be a member of His church.
How I live my faith
Being a member of the church is a very important part of my life. Each Sunday I attend church. Some of my responsibilities include selecting hymns and finding special musical numbers for the main service (sacrament meeting), and playing the organ. I also work as the cub committee chair person in the cub scouts. This is a fun job for me because I have 3 boys in cub scouts. Recently I have been asked to serve in the women's organization of the church. On a daily basis I pray and read from the scriptures and church magazines, and we read from the scriptures and pray each night as a family. Sometimes we miss a night, and sometimes I don't get my reading in or I don't say my prayers. On those occasions I can really feel a difference in my attitude and in our home.
