Hi I'm Jessie

I grew up in Washington State. I have a BS is Health Science. My husband is my best friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 23 year old college student. I just got married in August of 2010 to my very best friend. I love to play games with friends and I love to read.

Why I am a Mormon

My family growing up was not active in attending the LDS church. My parents were both born into the faith, but chose not to attend. When I was about 7 my best friend at the time invited me to go to church with her and her family. I continued to go, and was baptized a year later. My brothers and sister were all baptized just before me. My Dad's parents were very active in the church and taught us a lot about the gospel. I remember going to church in jeans, because that's all I had. My Grandma would teach us songs about Christ. As I got older, I strayed from the gospel path a bit, but when I was 15 I had an amazing experience where I knew without a doubt that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. From then, I've tried my best to do what is right and to learn all I could. I now have a firm testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I know He is my Savior. I know the Book of Mormon is true with all my heart and am so grateful for its influence in my life. I served a Mission for the LDS church in California, and that strengthened my testimony even more as I saw the gospel working in the lives of those I taught and loved. Now I am married to my best friend for all eternity.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am a Ward Missionary. This means that I help the full-time missionaries serving in our area. I give them support, and help out where I can to share the gospel.
