Hi I'm Julie

I'm a wife and a stay-at-home mother of 4. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy crafting, sewing, and wood working (as long as I don't have children screaming at me while I do it). I love outdoors activities such as hiking and bike riding with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the greatest blessing in my life. I am member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that it's teachings are true. There have been many times in my life where the Holy Ghost has touched my heart with feelings of peace and joy and reconfirmed the truthfulness of the Christ's teachings found in the Book of Mormon and Bible. I know that by following these teachings my family and I will be able to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus again some day. I know that Heavenly Father answers prayers, that he is aware of our needs, and that he love us more that we can imagine. I know that by living His teachings we are worthy of His blessings and that he can and will bless us.

How I live my faith

I live the gospel of Jesus Christ because I love the Lord and because it brings me so much joy. I try to be a good example and serve others as Jesus did. I try not to judge, but to be understanding and to think and speak kindly of those around me. There are many times in the scriptures when Jesus invites little children to come to him and he blesses them. At this time in my life, having many small children of my own, I feel like this is one of the many ways that I can follow Christ's example, by caring for and blessing the lives of little children. I do my best to teach my children about Jesus and how they can live as Jesus would have them live. That doing so will bring them a joy in their lives that they will not be able to find any other way. It is important for them to grow up knowing that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them and that they can always turn to them for help. I have grown up with that knowledge and it has gotten me through many hard times.
