Hi I'm John

I'm a husband, son, brother, and doctor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from college with a degree in Spanish. Hoping to help people and provide a stable life for my family, I moved to the Washington, DC area to go to medical school followed by a residency in Radiology in Virginia. I then returned to the Utah for a fellowship. I was single during medical school, residency and fellowship. It took me 12 years of searching, and moving from the Western United States, to the East, and then back to the West to find the love of my life. We were recently married and live and work in Idaho. I enjoy being outside, water sports, photography, cooking, gardening, travelling, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be the true Church of Jesus Christ, restored by Him. Everything it has brought into my life is good, brings me peace, and helps me to be better. Being a Mormon brings happiness to my family, direction for my life, meaning for why we are here on Earth, and hope for what is to come after this life.

How I live my faith

The most important way that I live my faith is by trying to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I love my wife, honor my parents, try to serve my neighbor, am honest, and try to be better every day. When given the chance, I love to share my thoughts and feelings about being a Mormon, but I also hope that people are influenced by the things that I do, or don't do. Every day, I try to make the world a better place.
