Hi I'm Sharon

I was born and raised in the church. It has always been a source of strength for me. That is why I am a Mormon

About Me

Hi! I am a 60 year old grandma. I enjoy quilting and sewing of all kinds. I like to cook. I have 4 children, all grown and 13 grandchildren whom I adore. My greatest rewards come from serving others and helping where I am needed.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my parents were and that is where I was taught. Since growing up, however, I have come to know on my own that it is truly the same church that Christ established when He was on the earth. It brings me joy to know that my family is something that is permanently mine, not to lost by death. What else is there to obtain peace?

How I live my faith

I try to show my faith and my belief in all I do daily. I am an upbeat person and try to smile at everyone, because smiling is contagious! I am living my faith currently by serving the Lord on a volunteer mission to build up the welfare system in the church. One year of service away from home and family to help where I can with my husband

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

When Christ established His church on the earth while he was living as a mortal man, he called 12 disciples, and they were to teach people the message that He taught to them. After His death, they taught His gospel, but eventually they were all killed and the church, as an organization fell away. In order to keep it exactly as it was originally organized it had to be totally restored from the basic beliefs to include all the doctrine that Christ taught. Show more Show less
