Hi I'm Beth

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in my 20s, I'm going to school to become a teacher. I have a huge interest in theatre, I love to perform as well as go to the theatre. I'm a travel queen! I love experiencing different cultures and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always had faith in Heavenly Father. My faith was at one point very weak, I was not happy with the way I was living my life. I had a great life at the time, but I knew it could be better. I was trying to discover what would bring me true happiness. It finally hit me one morning while I was waking up that the thing that would bring me true happiness or the thing that was missing in my life was my relationship with my Heavenly Father. I started going to a Baptist Christian Church and still I felt nothing inside. I had made some friends through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and found them to be truly inspirational and influential in the way I wanted to live my life. I prayed for His guidance to know if this is the church I should investigate. I went to Utah to visit my friend and went to Temple Square to the visiting center and asked two very kind, loving and extremely helpful sister missionaries who gave me comfort that I was in the right place and as soon as I returned home to California I began taking the lessons from the missionaries and 3 1/2 months later I was baptized. I have found so much truth in this gospel and it has helped me through trying times. During my investigation, the adversary did attempt to test my faith, which only made my testimony stronger that this is the true church. I have found my happiness, because of this church, my faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ, I know have a wonderful relationship with Heavenly Father again. This is the short version...I could go on for days on how this church has changed my perspective and has improved my life.

How I live my faith

I regularly read my scriptures and pray that is the personal line to be able to chat with Heavenly Father. Once a month, another female member and myself go to fellow female members homes and teach lessons from the gospel to them. This is a time to visit and see how others are doing, as well as grow stronger in the doctrine of the Lord. I also have a calling (a responsibility shall we say) to be the chorister in sacrament meetings, which means I lead the music.
