Hi I'm Liz

I'm a wife and a mother of 5 kids. I also teach piano and voice lessons and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a mother of 5 boys and 1girl. I teach piano and voice lessons. I love to be with my family and visit with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in and LDS home, there came a time when I wanted to know for myself if the church was true. So I decided to pray and ask God if he was really there. As I was praying, an overpowering feeling of warmth, peace, and love came over me. I knew that God was real. I have tried to live the gospel of Jesus Christ, and as I have, I have felt many of the same feelings that I felt that night; feelings that have assured to me that this church has the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have found great happiness and peace in living the gospel.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving others. I have been involved in many things in my community and church. I have been involved in musicals, community choir concerts, and I volunteer at our school and in our Parent Teacher Association. I have been a Cub Scout Leader and a leader and a teacher of the youth in our church. One of my favorite things to do has been to be what the Mormons call a "visiting teacher." Two women are assigned to make a monthly visit to a few women in our ward (congregation). It is a great way to get to know these ladies, and it is so nice to have a chance to visit with other women and strengthen each other's faith.
