Hi I'm Nick

I am serving a mission in Phoenix, I love life, and know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeember, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in San Francisco, California and I now live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am currently serving in the Arizona Phoenix Mission. So far it has been a wonderful learning experience and it will be something I will always remember. I am an only child and live with my mom. I never have known my father, but everything has gone great so far. The best part though is that I have an AWESOME relationship with my mom. She is such a blessing to me in my life. I love to have fun and am up to try new things. I love to play sports, even though I may not be the best at them, but its all about having a good time.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but that isn't the reason I'm a Mormon. I'm a Mormon because it is right. Everything in this Church is true. Everyone has a desire to be happy and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints does it for me. The values and teachings of the Church are good and I know that they will bring me happiness and a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. As I have lived the teachings in the gospel I have been blessed and will continue to be as I follow it. It also doesn't bless just me, but also my family. As we have lived it we have seen the blessings. It has truly brought my family joy, peace, and TRUE happiness. In my life I had the question of "is this really right?" It was something that my heart needed to know so I did. The first time I read the Book of Mormon all the way through was a remarkable experience. I took the challenge found at the end of the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. I felt good inside and I know it was the Holy Ghost. I knew that what the Church was teaching was true. As I have continued living it I have grown a stronger testimony of the truthfulness of the Church. I will continue to follow Christ's gospel because it what makes me happy and it is what Christ would have me do. The gospel is the greatest gift I could ever have and it is available to ALL.

How I live my faith

I live my faith currently as a full-time missionary which I will be for 2 years. I am teaching others to come unto Christ and follow Him. As I have done so I have been blessed for the service I am giving to my Father in Heaven. This gospel brings me joy and I want others to feel that same joy. I know this gospel can bring peace and happiness to all those who accept it. It is something all of us can do. We can all share the gospel and serve our brothers and sisters.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Yes. Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross, we know that we can be forgiven of all our sins as we accept Him into our lives. We know that through Him we can return to live with our Father in Heaven along with our families forever in happiness. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It testifies of Him and His dealing with the people here on the American continent. It teaches us of Christ's gospel and shows us the way back to Him. It also tells us the great love of our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ and that they want ALL to know of them and return to live with them. We can find out if it is the word of God if we pray about it and truly want to know. We must ask sincerely and in faith if we want to receive an answer. Show more Show less

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

The way we can come to know our Father in Heaven is by accepting His son Jesus Christ. By accepting Jesus Christ we come closer to our Father in Heaven. We also come closer to our Father in Heaven by reading the scriptures and praying. By reading the scriptures we learn the goodness of our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ and the love that they have for each and every one of us. We also learn Christ's gospel and ways we can improve our individual lives, the lives of others, and the lives of our families. By praying we learn the truth of what we have read and are LITERALLY talking to our Father in Heaven. We can ask Him ANYTHING. He will help us if we ask Him in faith and are sincere in our prayer. The truth will be made known unto us by the power of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost will tell us that this is true. Show more Show less
