Hi I'm Mason

I'm a 2 time Nerf basketball Champion, I have a wonderfully contagious laugh, I love string cheese and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up my whole life in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am the youngest of 4 brothers. My mom and dad raised our family on a farm. Although it was hard at many times to do a lot of the work I am so grateful to have grown up the way I did and to have a strong work ethic taught to me by my mom and dad. Throughout my life I have loved sports and have enjoyed playing them. I have loved football for as long as I can remember and have played throughout my life. I come from a land of snow and love to snowboard. I see God's love for me most in my family. Oh Boy, do I love my family!!! My family has been there through everything, good times, bad times, sports, accomplishments everything you can think of. I have such a great relationship with my brothers. We get along like 4 peas in a pod. I owe my strong family to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Without it I truly would not know if my family would be the way it is now. When we as a family, and individuals grow close to Jesus Christ and his teachings, we grow together as a family. I know that the teachings of Jesus Christ are best taught in the home. My mother and father taught me the way to be, not only in their words, but by their actions as well. They lived what they taught, and helped me to become better. After high school I went to a semester at a community college before choosing to serve a mission. I am currently serving in the Arizona Phoenix Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints but was encouraged throughout all of my life to gain my own testimony of its truthfulness. I have always had wonderful friends who were members of the church, that kept me on the right path. Like my buddy Elder Matthew Trussell. In my picture he is the awesome guy on the right. My real testimony started to grow when I went off to college and was away from home and my parents. I could have easily not gone to church and no one would have known but I knew that if I wanted God's help in my life and in all I did, then I needed to keep his commandments. My testimony comes from the word of God and the power of prayer. I have come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is truly the Lord's kingdom established on the earth today from reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know of its truth and divinity. My family and I have been so blessed by following the Gospel of Jesus Christ and living its teachings and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by serving a mission. I am a missionary serving in the Arizona Phoenix Mission. My purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ, by helping them recieve the restored gospel, through faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. As I share with others the joy and the blessings that I have recieved from the restored gospel my testimony continues to grow. Missionary work is really a life long calling but I have chosen to devote all my time, talents, and efforts for 2 years to bring others to a knowledge of their Savior Jesus Christ.
