Hi I'm Trezor

I talk, I walk, I bike, I hike, I smile-I've been Mormon for a while.

About Me

I love biking, I loved running until I got injured shortly after running a 5 minute mile. Recently I served a full time mission to bring salvation to you and your loved ones. The fact that I was able to walk and bike with knees that get the job done is indeed a blessing from the Lord. I'm going to school to make money to support a family through mechatronics. I have gone through many hard things in my life, but I do know that God loves ALL of his Children. Christ has ALL power. Therefore through calling on Him, learning of Him, developing charity through service, I know that I can overcome all things. The nearness to God I gain from trials will in the end be overwhelmingly better than if I'd been "spared" from hard trials.

Why I am a Mormon

Top Three Reasons- *1- I know that the commandments given from God are such marvelous blessings and guides to having a happy life. We are so blessed when we do what God says! I have come to know God and trust His word as given through His prophets. I have tried what He has asked each of us to do-read The Book of Mormon, ponder the message it contains and then ask God if it is true, and He will tell you as He did me that the book is true, that the Church that proclaims it is the very kingdom of God on earth, and by being a part of the work you will prepare yourself and others for the second coming of the Messiah. *2- I often ask Him for strength, asking "Is it true that I can make it through? Is it really true I can handle this?" Always His answers "Yes. Keep going My son. Hang in there. I am your Father because you are My child, and any of My children can indeed make it. You were made to succeed." I know that the true knowledge of God as my Heavenly Father and Christ as my Savior, and the Holy Ghost as my guide and constant companion is the only way for me to have the strength I need in this life, the only way to conquer the evil in my life is through this restored gospel. *3- For me Eternal Life is a fair reward for any persecution I get for being a mormon.Thankfully I haven't had too much from people around me

How I live my faith

I live my faith by inviting others to feel the joy of turning away from sin and following God through even the roughest of times. The light at the end of the tunnel, the view at the end of the hike, the strength after a workout, the witness after the trial of your faith, the wages from the Master you've served. I am a missionary for my Church and have really grown to love all people and I live my faith by doing all I can to help everyone I see get at least one warm smile that day.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that family is the basic unit of society. We believe that all things in the church should support and uplift the family. We believe that in the home is the best place to teach and learn the Gospel, and we believe that our families can be truly happy now, and together throughout eternity.-If we each do our part. I am so grateful that I am blessed with a family that forgives, that loves, cares, serves each other, talks to each other, has fun together, and prays together, shares insights with each other. By doing these things my family has found mountains of happiness. I hope one day to be able to start a family of my own and recieve in a temple the promise from God that my family will continue after death. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

I don't drink coffee tea or alchohol first and foremost because the prophet asked us not to. I know that God speaks through modern prophets. Because it is truly God who told us we shouldn't eat or drink those things and He knows a lot better than I do why, I obey. I don't know completely why He asked us not to. I do know that He did ask. That is enough for me, and I try to eat as healthy as I can so that my body can be heathy. Also it helps my mind to be kept clear and free from distractions so that I can understand what God wants me to do. My mom always told me if I wanted to make good decisions at the grocery store, not to go hungry. So if I want to make good decisions in life, I don't want to be burdened by addictions causing me always to be "hungry". Show more Show less

What is the Law of Chastity?

Living the Law of Chastity is the greatest way to be filled with true love. It means reserving all sexuality for your spouce, a partner who you can and want to spend all eternity with. Marriage is the means by which we safeguard the beautiful powers to unite with God in creating life and bring happiness to His children. We are all in the pursuit of happiness, living the Law of Chastity encourages us to think about our family and their happiness-Love. Not about personal physical pleasure-lust. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Jesus Christ is truly my Savior! He has saved my life when I've been depressed. He has saved me from death in many circumstances. He has been with me so often in my times of trial and difficulty that I can do nothing but desire to share with everyone the joy that He gives to me. I serve as a representative of Christ, inviting God's cherished children-ALL of them- to come unto Christ through Faith in Jesus Christ and His power to make us whole, which leads us to change our thoughts and actions, which gives us the desire to be born again, which we show as we are baptized. After being baptized by water we are baptized with fire and the Holy Ghost-a gift to teach us how to serve, how to help those in need and to be more Christlike. Then we endure to the end of our lives having faith in Christ, a perfect brightness of hope that He will truly come again, and that one day we can live with Him, and with eachother. Truly we love Christ, we try to be like Him, and help all to be like Him and enter into His joy and His rest. We follow His example, we hear His voice through modern prophets who speak for Him through His Spirit. We read of Him daily. We pray in His name at least 3 times a day. We promise to ALWAYS remember Him every week with our sacrament bread and water at church. We also promise to keep His commandments. Lastly we promise to take His name upon us-We promise to be Christians.  Show more Show less
