Hi I'm Jerri

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Montana. I am an RN. I am happily married with 6 children and 3 grandchildren.

About Me

I am a busy wife and mother. I have six children, 4 girls and 2 boys. My oldest 4 are married and we now love and enjoy 3 beautiful grandchildren, 2 granddaughters and a grandson. My husband and I love the outdoors-biking, golfing, gardening, running/walking, hiking, fishing, and camping. I am an RN with a BSN degree. I worked as a NICU nurse. My dear husband was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer this past year. After some very difficult treatments, the doctors do not see any evidence of the cancer . We are looking forward to our 5 year anniversary so we can join all those who have gone through this experience and can say we are cancer free. Now we can say we are cancer survivors .

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know I am a daughter of God. I know He lives and loves me. I know He sent his Son, Jesus Christ , to the earth to make it possible for me to return to live with Him again someday. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God chosen to restore the Church of Jesus Christ back to the earth in its fullness and completeness. I know I can be with my family forever. I know we have a living prophet on the earth today through whom God speaks and guides His church. These are the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ that bring me lasting happiness. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. I pray and read my scriptures every day individually and with my family. We have a family evening once a week specifically dedicating an hour for family discussions, family service, or family fun activities. My husband and I visit a few families at least once a month , to care, love and watch over them. I am a teacher and leader over the Relief Society, the women's organization in the church. I love to do family history work and learn about our family history and the people in our family I was not able to associate with while they were living. My favorite daily activity is to share with others the happiness that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings into my life.

Are Mormons Christians?
