Hi I'm Rob

I am a twin, enjoy music, gardening, woodworking and have traveled extensively in Central and South America. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father and grandfather and have been married to a wonderful wife for 37 years. I enjoy writing poetry and stories with illustrations for my grandchildren. I enjoy gardening, reading about history, and spending time with my family. I am learning to play the guitar, which has proven to be challenging and rewarding and I love working with wood. I enjoy opportunities to use my Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I belief in the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I believe the Gospel as taught by Jesus Christ was changed after the death of his apostles and lost much of it's intent and meaning. I am a Mormon because I believe there is a need for a prophet and divine direction from Heaven today just as there was anciently. I believe one of the key elements of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that it brings peace and comfort to us individually and collectively as we understand who God is and how He communicates with each of us. I need a personal relationship with Him and love that the Gospel as taught by the Church encourages us to develop that sacred trust.

How I live my faith

I serve frequently in the Temple and am currently working with the full time missionaries helping them to coordinate meetings, schedules, and opportunities for other to hear about the Gospel. I pray daily, read the scriptures frequently and look for opportunities to help others.
