Hi I'm Laura Martindale

I am a Registered Nurse in San Diego and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, sister, and friend. I spend most of my time taking care of my family. In addition I spend 24 hours a week working in a major hospital in San Diego. I enjoy walks on the beach, reading and hiking. I have two children which we adopted through the County of San Diego. My children are now 17 and 20 years old. My husband and I have been married for 34 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church at the age of 18. I was introduced to the church by two missionaries who visited a family I was staying with. I was exicited to be baptised because everything the missionaries taught made sense. The church is true and I could never deny it. Each time I attend a meeting my testimony of the truthfulness grows.

How I live my faith

I work organizing what is referred to as visiting teaching, which is a program that helps us keep in contact with each member of the woman's organization which we call Relief Society. I have always enjoyed serving in the church. It has givien me many opportunities to love and care about others, which is the example Jesus Christ set for us. I also try to live my life doing more for others than others do for me.
